HEARING WHAT YOU SEE

For few years now I've been contemplating about making an algorithm that converts visual info into sound and make music this way or use it to help blind people navigate around or enhance their perception of their surroundings. Three weeks ago I actually started writing such a software. But guess what, someone has already done it.

Watch the video below (it's towards the end) and exactly for the same purposes. Well, whatever, I'll keep playing around. Soon I'll post my first visually composed piece of music.

If anyone is interested and has time for fun and wants to share ideas with me, please join me.
